Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation:
A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is designed to clarify dementia-related differential diagnoses and is appropriate for those who experience significant memory loss and/or other signs of dementia. Our evaluation can facilitate differential diagnosis of a number of neurological conditions, including:

Alzheimer's Disease

Vascular Dementia

Parkinson's Disease

Lewy Body Disease

Frontotemporal Dementia

Mild Cognitive Impairment
Extensive background data is gathered from the patient and/or family or caregiver prior to our evaluation. Diagnostic evaluation typically requires at least 4 hours of neuropsychological testing administered over a time period that is appropriate for the client. Following the scoring and interpretation of testing results, the client or other designated person will receive a written report summarizing testing results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for follow-up assessment, intervention and care.
At the Brichel Memory Clinic, we work closely with other medical professionals, caregivers and family members to sustain optimal cognitive functioning and quality of life for our clients and their families.
